Every January tens of thousands of technology fans from across the world flock to the bright lights of Las Vegas for the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES). There, in the vast Las Vegas Convention Centre, more than four thousand businesses and one thousand speakers showcase the next generation of consumer electronics to the marketplace.
Some of the biggest digital health and medtech announcements of the year are made at CES and this year’s show was no exception, with wearable tech products particularly popular.
Here are some of the innovative new products that caught our eye at CES 2019:
It’s clear from these and other products launched at CES that the growing desire for more personalised healthcare combined with pressures on health systems across the world are rapidly driving innovation in digital health and medtech.
Smartphones are becoming even smarter and more affordable, wearable tech is becoming less intrusive and more capable and cloud solutions are becoming more efficient and reliable.
When put together, these technologies offer an incredible opportunity to put patients in control of their own health outcomes and transform the traditional doctor-patient relationship.
Bond Digital Health is proud to be at the forefront of this new wave of innovation with our bespoke app and cloud digital health solutions and pioneering wearable tech projects.
We can’t wait to see what else 2019 has in store in the world of medtech.
